"Real Life Prosthetics does everything right! I consider myself extremely fortunate to be a client of theirs."
~ Karen G.
Olivia G. Tuck, MSPO recently joined the team at Real Life Prosthetics as the Resident Prosthetist/Orthotist. As a Resident, Olivia's responsibilities include assisting with fabrication processes in the lab and providing patient care alongside other practitioners all while gaining time and experience in preparation for becoming ABC-Certified in both disciplines.
After receiving her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from James Madison University in 2019, she went on to earn her Master's degree at the University of Pittsburgh's program in Prosthetics and Orthotics. While at Pitt, she completed a Capstone project titled "Practitioners' Attitudes Towards Patients with Developmental Disabilities" that has been presented at the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association's National Assembly. Olivia has a minor in Exceptional Education and vocational experience working with children with exceptional needs.
When not working towards her CPO certification, she is passionate about riding motorcycles and staying active. She is recently engaged and working on becoming a great cook! If the office is celebrating something, even as small as making it to the end of the week, she loves to surprise the staff with homemade cookies!
